Matrix 6 and 6E system provides a 4 connector channel solutions, using impedance matching data jacks to work in harmony with patch panels, significantly increasing the margin for both the channel and permanent link testing. The centered design of the products has optimized the product to the greatest extent

Matrix 6 & 6e far exceeds the requirement TIA/EIA and ISO 11801, providing extra margin to ensure sure pass in any handheld tester during the field site testing.. Matrix 6E system can work under testing frequency of 500 Mhz extended frequency in support of the future 10G applications. In 2004, Caledonian launch out enhanced Cat 6E shielded cabling system, which is specially designed to support the future 10GBase-T application. Complying to EIA/TIA and ISO 11801, Cat 6E system provides extra EMC capability, also providing superior ANEXT performance. ANEXT is the coupling effect of crosstalk of two adjacent cables. ANEXT is similar to NEXT in certain extent but differs mainly in that the interfered and interfering pairs are in different cable bundles. During installation, usually a bundle of cables will be put together and any one cable will certainly interferes with the adjacent cables. Through the EMC capability of shielded system, ANEXT can be significantly improved. Matrix 6E shielded system offers two different types of cables. One is the individually shielded cables and another is individually shielded plus overall copper braided cables. They are highly recommended for environments with great interference sources and they can significantly improve the attenuation, NEXT and also ELFEXT performance. Matrix 6 and Matrix 6E fully complies with component testing requirement, thus optimizing the performance of each component to great extent, providing extended frequency and bandwidth, and are also backward compatible with lower class products
