    MGGO & MGSGO Ships Power Cables (VG 95218 part 60)

    Applications

    These cables are designed for fixed installation in electrial power and control systems below and above deck, preferably on ships of the German Navy and/or German design of construction. Not intended for permanent installation in or under water. Fulfill all requirements of BV3400 (Specifi cation for Construction of German Navy vessels).

    Construction

    Conductors : Bare copper conductor, class 2 or class 5

    Insulation : Halogen free vulcanized rubber blend

    Covering of cores : Elastic or plasticcompound halogen free

    Screen (for MGSGO type) : Bare copper wire braided screen, separator tape (optional)

    Sheath : Halogen free crosslinked elastomeric compound

    Core Identification

    1C : Black

    2C : Black, Blue

    3C : Black, Blue, Brown

    4C : Black, Blue, Brown, Black

    More than 5C : Cores black, with printed number, beginning with 1 from inside to outside Pilot and directing shall be the same in all layers.

    Nominal voltage : Uo/U = 0.6 / 1 kV

    Max. operating voltage : AC 1200 V, DC 1800V

    Operating temperature at conductor : + 85°C
