STJ(SEX) Cables – PTFE(FEP) Tape Jacket Over Shield

Application and Description:

These PTFE insulated single-core MIL-W-16878D shielded PTFE cables are used in electronic equipment. This cables are resistant to acids, alkalis, oil, flame, moisture, solvents and fungus.

Construction:

Conductor: stranded silver plated copper.

( also available nickel plated copper)

Insulation: Type E extruded PTFE

Insulation Wall Thickness: 0.006”

Standard Color Code: 1: White; 2: Black; 3: Red; 4: Green; 5:Yellow; 6:Blue

Shield: Braided silver plated copper shield (85% Coverage)

Jacket: Tape wrapped PTFE (STJ) or Extruded FEP (SXE) Jacket (White preferred)

Characteristics:

Temperature Range:  -65°C to +200°C 

(Nickel-plated conductors PTFE jacket: 260°C)

                  (Nickel-plated conductors FEP jacket: 200°C)
